On a rare occasion does the rap game ever reach broadcast news, but last night’s attempted shooting of Rick Ross has created a small media frenzy. Luckily nobody was hurt in the drive-by, apart from the rapper’s Rolls Royce, which crashed into a nearby building. But it’s definitely a targeted warning to the Ross, who was out celebrating his 37th birthday. There is speculation that it was from the Gangster Disciples, who released threatening videos toward the rapper in late 2012.
