Weekly updates

I’m kind of excited about the beats that are set to ravish my music library this year — though I’m mostly hanging for all of Kanye‘s stuff. It’s only been a year and a half since the Yeezus release, and the self-proclaimed God has already started dropping and previewing new works… so I’m feeling pretty blessed as a devout fan of the Messiah right now. Most recently, Ye jumped on stage at the iHeartMedia Music Summit and took over Def Jam CEO Steve Bartel’s talk (don’t worry, guys — he had permission… sorry Tay Tay), and after delivering a speech centred around innovation, he previewed ‘FourFiveSeconds’ with RiRi and Paul McCartney, shut his laptop and strutted of stage. Like a boss.

Luckily for fans, we didn’t have to wait long to cop the song. Over the weekend, Rihanna posted download links to the new track for iTunes, Google Play and Amazon MP3. Countless YouTube and SoundCloud attempts have been made — you know the drill. The track, like ‘Only One’ that was dropped at the beginning of the year, is a slower one that features McCartney strumming, with Kanye and RiRi on vocals.

You can download the song here.
