Reports have come from Grazia that Rihanna‘s company, Roroj Trade, LLC, filed a patent last month to trademark a brand called $CHOOL KILLS, under the clothing and leather product categories at the U.S. Patent and Trademarks Office.

Grazia goes on to report that the label will be “an accessories range covering everything from tote bags to purses, and later on, fashion”, and that the singer’s music will “take a bit of a backseat” to her fashion endeavours.

Given that the singer has previously designed a fashion line for River Island and was named Puma’s creative director late last year, it’s sensible that her fashion proclivities would spill over into her own fashion brand. It’s likely that that brand will exude the cross-over of sex appeal into streetwear that she has become the poster-girl for, but nothing is for certain yet. Keep it locked to ACCLAIM and you can bet we’ll let you know as soon as it is.
