If you were to do one of those word association questionnaires with people and the name ‘Schoolboy Q‘, a lot of the titles of the tracks on Oxymoron would probably be answers. But aside from track names that scream Q, the real news is in the features.

We get a real mixed bag with labelmates Jay Rock, Kendrick and new TDE signee SZA, on ‘Los Awesome’, ‘Collard Greens’ and ‘His and Her Friend’ respectively, the first presumably an ode to the city where TDE hails from.

Aside from the TDE family Q enlists the lyrical stylings of some real heavyweights, like 2 Chainz, Kurupt, Raekwon and then bridges the gap between old and new passing the mic to Tyler, The Creator and previous collaborator BJ the Chicago Kid.

‘Fuck LA’ is a whack track name though.
