Grime legend Skepta, who seems to be having his international moment in the sun thanks to co-signs from the likes of Kanye West and Drake, is set to finally #shutdown Australia once again. The boss of Boy Better Know took to Instagram and Twitter to proclaim that dates for the Shutdown Tour would be announced next month. While we’ll have to wait and see just when exactly the man’s Air Maxes will touch down on Australian soil, it seems likely that he’ll be heading out our way prior to the year’s end.

His upcoming Konnichiwa album may have been pushed back, with its initial March 1st release date having long passed, but we can hope that the tour will coincide with the new release. The last time that Skeps was down under was in 2012, where he performed at Parklife with Wiley. It appears he’s been keen to get back ever since, tweeting earlier in April that he “can’t wait to go back to Australia” followed by the prayer hands emoji; just so we know the love is real.
