Those who are old school at heart can rejoice because a legitimately tangible, non internet music service is dropping in 2017.

Stones Throw Records, who celebrated 20 years this year, will run a vinyl subscription service from January 1. The year long subscription includes all new Stones Throw vinyls which will consist of albums, 12″ singles, 45s, box sets and special edition rereleases.

The subscription will set you back $250 plus a once off shipping fee.

Stones Throw boast some incredible artists both in their past, present and (fingers crossed), future. From Madvillain to NxWorries, this is sure to be a worthwhile prescription for those who love getting on the decks. In the first quarter of year, music from Karriem Riggins, Tuxedo, Koreatown Oddity and Gabriel Garzón Montano is set to be released on vinyl.

The very first vinyl release for 2017 is a blast from the unforgettable past of hip-hop, Madlib and J Dilla’s Jaylib Remixes from back in the good old days. If the deal isn’t sweet enough, Stones Throw present a previously unreleased track from the duo recorded back in 2002, ‘Da Rawkus’.

Listen to ‘Da Rawkus’ below and subscribe for your vinyls on Stones Throw.
