Not long after the three-year life of Darkside came to an end last year, Nicolas Jaar returns with Nymphs II – his first solo project since 2011. The 12” was recorded in New York between 2011 and 2015, and although there are only two tracks on the 15-minute record, the quality is far from compromised. The dark and dreamy release is comprised of A-side track “The Three Sides Of Audrey And Why She’s All Alone Now”, and B-side “No One Is Looking At U”. If this is a taste of what’s to come from the 25 year old producer, then I’ll be waiting impatiently for more.
