With his sophomore album set to drop on April 5th, the WeDidIt/True Panther affiliate Shlohmo has just lifted the veil of his latest project Dark Red, which is currently available to stream exclusively via the New York Times. The overall tone of the album is parallel to that of the three previously released cuts (‘Buried’, ‘Beams’ and ‘Emerge from Smoke), with ‘Beams’ having recently been given the visual treatment. Each track is complex in its design and layered with loads of instrumentation, backed by strong up-ward builds and drops that are sure to have you subsiding in your emotions and sending you running through the 6 with your woes.
