TDE’s 2016 schedule is going to be a busy one

They put the 'lit' in 'to-do list'

If you’ve tried to turn a new leaf this year and make a bucket list for 2016 then you’re not the only one—Top Dawg Entertainment have shared their ‘to-do list’, and it’s a killer.

Whilst it might seem like not a great year for a record label to have only put out two albums, Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy clearing To Pimp a Butterfly and Jay Rock’s 90059 positioned TDE at the top end of 2015’s hip-hop labels. That being said, label boss Anthony Tiffith is definitely going HAM this year judging by both the names on the board and their current status.

Schoolboy Q is said to be up to a “sample clearance” which in itself would have been an announcement enough. But as the list continues, SZA, Isaiah Rashad and Ab-Soul all have projects in the works. Not to mention the sneaky Kendrick Lamar tease, to “get Top on the phone,” coming in the wake of Lamar’s recent live performances of raw material.

Top Dawg confirms two new signees, or John Does, and a potential Black Hippy drop (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock). Jay Rock’s current status is ‘ER’ following his motorcycle accident, but the photo Tiffith posted assures he is on the mend.

We seriously hope that TDE stick to their New Year plans, because if so then “shits about to get nasty real soon.”
