Theophilus London put out an open call for unsigned talent

You could be one video away from an all-expenses paid trip to the Big Apple

There’s a lot to be said of talent searches and the gems they unveil. In the past we’ve been blessed with the likes of Shannon Noel, Guy Sebastian, and Kelly Clarkson, just to name a few.

So it’s understandable that Theophilus London is in full support of the social and entertainment network, Clapit. Coming in the wake of his new single, ‘Revenge’, London has put out a call for unsigned artists to submit a video of any length between five seconds and five minutes with the hashtag #singit. The reward for their best pick is an all-expenses paid trip to NYC, as well as one-on-one mentoring.

“This open call challenge is a fantastic opportunity for users to get real feedback on their work from a musical icon,” said Clapit co-founder and CEO, Paul Bedwell.

Clapit is a discovery platform for new talent, wherein artists upload their performances and watch as people respond by, well, clapping. Having pulled in more than 2.5 million in financing this year alone, the app is set to create a dynamic base for emerging talents to find and connect with a greater audience.
