Tyler the Creator, self-proclaimed “park ranger of a space planet” has farewelled his @fucktyler twitter handle, which he had repped since 2010.

AFROPUNK went live on Facebook with NTS Radio to chat to Tyler about this name switch among a bunch of other things.

Apparently, fucktyler “got hit by a bus”. RIP.

A tad more seriously, Tyler says “How can I contact corporations like yo invest a bunch of money in me, I have a lot of really good ideas and I’m like yo they don’t reply to me, oh yeah my name has this in it, first impression is automatically out the window.”

It appears lil Tyler has matured a bit from the boy we know and love, telling AFROPUNK he thought “I should just change it to my stage name, like why not… I just had a bunch of gnarly tweets under that name.”

So a new era begins for the American rapper, but have no fear, Felicia the Goat is apparently sticking around, Tyler says “Felicia’s tight” (sigh of relief).
