Queens native and self-proclaimed Polo-shirt aficionado, Meyhem Lauren, dropped his new mixtape Mandatory Brunch Meetings a few weeks back and now he’s released the video for the lead track ‘Mandated Participants’. The vid’s bugged out. Meyhem acts a fool, drinks Cristal and spits rapid-fire gangsterisms over a dinner spread. It’s dope and it’s hard to know why Meyhem’s still not getting the props he deserves, while his brother-from-another-mother Bronson tightens his grip on all things hip-hop. But this mixtape might just, in Meyhem’s own words, make him a little more ‘Laurelevant’.
