As much as people are crying that the sky is falling on Hip Hop Island, the underground is alive and well right now with Roc Marciano leading the charge. Anything that Roc touches is classic material, and in the last week alone he’s blessed us with a M.A.R.S. track (the group he formed with Action Bronson, Cormega, Saigon and Large Professor), a flawless 7″ with UK producer The Purist and today we’ve got a clip to accompany the Wais P feat. Wais P has also been red hot after his Premo Pimpin’ mixtape dropped late last year with nothing but (you guessed it) DJ Premier beats, with this new cut to be released on his upcoming Pussy Rich free album.

These dudes along with a few other guys are putting out that raw uncut, and as much as I enjoy Rozay and Lex Luger as the next man it’s great to know dudes like Roc Marciano, Wais P and Statik Selektah are holding it down for the real heads.
