Insane Clown Posse have found an unlikely recruit to drop a verse in their latest video, When I’m Clowning, in the form of fellow Detroit native Danny Brown. A collab between the two artists was probably impending since their bizarre and well-documented friendship emerged with Danny performing at the Gathering of the Juggalos last year, for example. The song is a pretty standard joint from the ICP, but the appearance of Danny Brown amongst the fare of clowns, freaks and a bearded snake woman is a welcome addition at around the two-and-a-half minute mark. Brown’s verse is particularly welcome as it replaces an extremely forgettable effort from Kreayshawn, who lent her vocals to the original single.
