Eminem is frustrated, he’s angry, he’s not happy – he is kind of acting like a brooding teenager. Well at least that is the vibe he is giving off in his clip for Survival. Spraypaint, face masks, Call of Duty playing in the background, the clip has all the hallmarks of a disgruntled sixteen-year-old boy, save for a mother yelling at him to do his homework.

Throughout the clip Em throws up stencils of a skeleton face, a reference to the Call of Duty: Ghost game and raps in front of a projection of him rapping (very meta) and projections of the game. It’s kind of sad to see Em go so commercial, but then again if he was going to promote anything, better Call of Duty than something that isn’t aggressive and gun-filled.
