Flexing her directoral muscle, FKA Twigs has created a film clip series to accompany her latest EP M3LL155X. Appearing in four distinct sections, scored by tracks featured on the release —’Figure 8′, ‘I’m Your Doll’, ‘In Time’ and ‘Glass & Patron,’ the film becomes a continuous work which explores themes of personal and creative loss, transition and development. Opening on artist Michelle Lamy and closing on the euphoric climax of Twigs and her dancers voguing in the forest to ‘Glass & Patron,’ (originally released on its own earlier in the year) the middle sections of the film heads to some dark places, handled in typical captivating and creative fashion, adding sinister dimension to Twigs’ ethereal vocals and production.
