To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Jay Z‘s The Black Album, producer extraordinaire and artist Pharrell Williams (of N.E.R.D. and The Neptunes) sat down with Jay Z’s own digital channel Life+Times for their DECODED series to talk about his and The Neptunes’ involvement on the three-million-plus selling album.

Discussing ‘Allure’ and ‘Change Clothes’, Pharrell discusses his intentions to make the tracks darker than usual, and why he thinks Jay is the best rapper.
