This is exactly what went down when Talib Kweli performed at the Espy and brought out Vinny Merlot aka Maseo from De La Soul. The two traded verses from Talib’s ‘Down For The Count’ before intermittently going over De La Soul’s ‘Oooh!’ and back. The fact that I missed acts like this reminds why I shouldn’t spend all my coin over New Year’s, because goddamn every one is touring in January.
