Tinashe drops off a stripped-down, psychedelic visual for one of the standout singles from her debut album Aquarius. The video for the Boi-1da and Sango-produced cut, was helmed by L.A. director Stephen Garnett, who Tinashe has worked with in the past for the film clip for another track called ‘Bated Breath’ from the same album. Keeping things quite simple, the treatment incorporates close-up clips of a distorting and doubling Tinashe, who dances jerkily to the subdued trap beat.

With whisperings about pop-writing overlords Max Martin and Doctor Luke being key collaborators on her next album, we can imagine that there might be less of these types of songs on the next track list, which is upsetting. In more encouraging news however, Queen T is rumoured to be a part of the Janet Jackson musical tribute at the BET Awards over the weekend, so be sure to keep an eye out for that one.
