Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) recently performed at The Shrine in Chicago, where he included a rendition of a Yeezy-produced, unreleased track titled ‘The Light Is Not Afraid Of the Dark’. The song was supposed to feature on Bey’s 2007 album True Magic, but didn’t make the cut. But thanks to his continued love for the track (and the wonders of the internet) we can all enjoy new sounds from the Boogieman. Personally, I’m hoping this track is dropped for proper audio consumption, in one way or another, because I’ve always been a fan and really can’t get enough of that Mos Def (oops, Yasiin Bey) drawl.
