It’s only been three months since Death Grips released their last record, the critically acclaimed Government Plates, but the controversial trio are already back in the studio working on the next big thing.

Fear not, this isn’t like that time last week Queen Latifah broke our hearts with a false Outkast album rumour, because this time it comes straight from the drummer’s mouth. Zach Hill made the very public announcement via his personal Facebook page, confirming that it won’t be long until we hear another drop of Death Grips’ abrasive, glass-shattering thrash anthems:

“starting to record the new Death Grips album right now.
hope to tour alot this summer.
Still writing a film and would like to make a new Hella album sooner than later…”

Someone go set up the guillotine – anything from Death Grips is bound to kill.
