Converse and fragment design have done it again

Hiroshi Fujiwara's latest collab is a Chuck Taylor All Star SE

Posted by

Horoshi Fujiwara isn’t the kind of guy who likes to slow down. After 30 plus years in the game the godfather of modern streetwear keeps going from strength to strength and from collab to collab. Off the back of his pinstriped fragment design collection for Converse Fujiwara has followed up with a more streamlined release, the new Converse x fragment design Chuck Taylor All Star SE.

The minimal design is a lesson in restraint and respect. The sneakers retain characteristic Chuck detailing, including the All Star patch, along with subtle, yet distinguishable, fragment design branding along the heel stay and midsole. Hiroshi’s signature interior fragment design label is also visibile externally on the left shoe through ghost stitch detailing.

The range is available in both high and low tops. The low tops come in at $120 a pair making this one of the most affordable footwear collaborations in recent memory. You can cop a pair from this Friday at the Converse online store, Emporium store, and selected boutiques.
