It was about two weeks ago that the street wear world was set ablaze when Leah McSweeney from Married To The Mob made it public that Supreme were suing her for $10 mil over her “Supreme Bitch” parody design.

Since then there hasn’t been any official developments to the case – just a whole lot of internet comments. However, New York based ANIMAL reveal that Supreme only trademarked their logo two months ago. March 6, 2013 to be precise – that’s after using the logo for nearly 20 years. Usually it takes between 6–24 months for a logo to be officially trademarked.

This doesn’t change the implications of the case but it sure is food for thought. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
