So now you’re up to date with Alexander Wang’s collaboration with adidas, right? The 2016 FW collab, comprised of 84 unisex pieces, has been causing a lot of hype. But wait, Wang and adidas haven’t been the only big names partnering up. In fact, there are quite a few dope collaborations happening at the moment, some more well-known than others. We’ve arguably chosen four of the most exciting current branding relationships that are happening around the globe. Whether it be Murakami x Louis Vuitton Vans, Stussy x Dover Street Market, Esprit x Opening Ceremony, or Yeezy Season 4’s budding relationship with adidas, these partnerships are making a statement. Check them out below.

01. Stussy x Dover Street Market

Stussy and Dover Street Market have partnered up in an exclusive collab. If this doesn’t get you excited, we don’t know what will. Together, they’ve created limited items with a subdued, streetwear feel. This new capsule features simplistic, predominately black and white tees and caps, with the occasional green, yellow and red motif relating to the ‘sunset’ slogan.

If you’re keen to purchase anything from the DSM x Stussy special collection, head on over the DSM online marketplace here. Stay tuned for further releases.

02. Murakami x Louis Vuitton

We didn’t know we needed this until now. Takashi Murakami created new patterns with Louis Vuitton a while back, and now one of these patterns has made its way onto a pair of Vans-Slip Ons. It’s a military-style, camouflage design with the iconic LV symbol. If any garment can combine taste with comfortability, surely these new Murakami x Louis Vuitton Vans can. These better be making their way to Oz sometime very soon.

03. Esprit x Opening Ceremony

New York’s Opening Ceremony has had a long and fruitful relationship with Esprit. This time, they’ve teamed up to produce a retro ’90s series. “We’ve loved Esprit since we were teenagers, and as with our roots also in California, this collection is one of our dream collaborations,” said OC founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. “This is Opening Ceremony’s interpretation of the original Esprit staples that we hoarded for our closets growing up, and we want to make this generation just as excited about Esprit.” The series contains 40 garments and accessory items, including a few reversible items. We’re loving the simplistic, androgynous, mod aesthetic.

04. adidas x YEEZY season 4, of course

We couldn’t talk about the latest trends without a YEEZY plug, right? So we’ve all been informed about the disaster that was the YEEZY season 4 NY fashion show. For those who missed it, models were fainting, heals were breaking, and bloggers were left waiting. “Honestly adidas should be ashamed,” tweeted the editor of NY Mag. Ouch.

Now ‘Ye has released the lookbook for season 4. The series features Amina Blue (with shoes intact), Teyana Taylor and Chanel Iman. The garments feature the same monochromatic, military-inspired, and subdued styles as in previous seasons, but hey, we’ll take what we can get. Check out the full lookbook here.
