Let’s face it, some of those ultra high-end designer brands are harder to say than look at and judge, it’s not like they all have easy names like: Supreme, New Balance, Original Fake or Black Scale, I mean that stuff’s universal right? Instead we’re stuck with names like: Jaeger-Lecoultre, Jean-Charles de Castlebajac, Marithé et François Girbaud, and Christian Lacroix, but thanks to fashion blog STCHD, you need not worry any longer. Compiling a list of some of the hardest to pronounce labels at the moment with a no frills approach, here’s some of our favourites:
Christian Louboutin: Cree-styan Loo-boo-tahn
Giorgio Armani: Jyor-jio Ahr-MAH-nee
Giambattista Valli: Gee-ahm-battista Valley
Jean-Charles de Castlebajac: Zhan-Sharls de KA-sel-ba-zhak
Marithé et François Girbaud: Mah-ri-TAY eh Frans-SUAH Jeer BOW
Gucci: GOO-chi
