Living: Warhol x Karimoku x FABRICK
Karimoku give Andy Warhol's camo pattern a new lease on life...
Posted By Meisy Cheong | 26-Apr-2012Probably better known for their Be@rbricks than their textiles, Medicom’s fantastic FABRICK use rolls of artist-designed (eg maharishi, Mike Perry, David Flores, SSUR) fabrics to produce a range of lifestyle products, furniture, soft furnishings and accessories.
Just announced is this amazing piece constructed by Japanese furniture designers, Karimoku, draped in Andy Warhol’s camouflage pattern, designed by the legendary artist in 1986. The minimalism of the frame comes to life with the iconic pattern, producing a piece that is beautiful in its simplicity and functionality.
Available in blue, pink or green, the piece is now open for pre-order (July 2012 delivery) at Stitch furniture.
