This year has seen some huge sneaker releases from Nike, which again was the undisputed top dog of the sneaker game despite a few worthy challengers stepping in the ring. The Cement IVs , LeBron South Beach, Foam Galaxy and Yeezy II drops set the sneaker world crazy, but the guys at Oregon have left the two best releases until the end of the year; the Jordan IV and Jordan XI in the classic “Bred” colorway. I consider both of these in my top five sneakers of all time and this will be the first chance the new generation of sneaker kids will have to own these grails.

With last year’s Concord riots still fresh in our minds, we’ll expect the XI Bred drop to cause similar frenzy when it arrives in stores just before Christmas time. I’ve got my hands on a pair of all the XI drops so far and I don’t intend to miss out on these, the new preview shots from Marqueesole are really making me itch and consider really how far I’ll go to have a pair on my feet.
