I recently teamed up with New York’s very own Mishka, a label I have always been interested in and have had 100% respect for. Together we produced a limited run of t-shirts and I created a capsule collection of limited edition prints, which were shown at the opening “Dance like a video, Sting like a Gif” last week in Brooklyn.
Dance like a video, Sting like a Gif is a collected analysis of the current world we live in. Advertising, media, instagram, Facebook and our willingness to be sucked in (myself included) to the digital life. Life is a cluster of information, colours and messaging which sometimes takes over. These limited edition prints are a direct study of this. Each artwork is named using popular spam phrases.
