Ricky Powell is old school New York, which is the best kind you can be. Recognising the epic contribution Ricky has made to the worlds of photography, music, art, and fashion for the better part of 30 years, clothing label Akomplice are celebrating “50 Years of the Lazy Hustler” with their new headwear collection. Doing what he does best, the wacky, hyperactive photographer shot a threesome of topless babes wearing the collection. As for the range itself, a selection of pom beanies in black and red are accompanied by a trio of snapbacks in hunter green, maroon, and navy. Each one features the Akomplice logo alongside Ricky’s signature and the number ‘50’ to highlight Ricky’s 50^th anniversary. The “New York Crimes” collection celebrates NYC’s best elements and Ricky Powell’s flavour is essential to the mix.

A curated collection of prints will be on display at the Akomplice flagship store this Saturday 17^th November, with Ricky Powell himself in attendance.
