February 10 marks eight years since the untimely death of Detroit producer J Dilla. Streetwear label Stussy are commemorating the late hip-hop great by releasing a new range of tees in the J Dilla Capsule Collection.
The collection will feature both a long-sleeve and short-sleeve tee in black or white. Each shirt features Dilla’s image, and a design making use of the producer’s famous “turn it up” phrase as well Stussy’s recognisable line drawings.
Last year the label honoured Dilla by releasing the World Tour t-shirt on what would have been the rapper’s 39th birthday. This year, Stussy’s J Dilla Capsule Collection will be released Friday, February 7, on what would have been Dilla’s 40th. The tees are available via the Stussy website as well as retail stores worldwide. Check out the images above.
