Nike is launching a collection with Calvin Johnson, the American NFL footballer, whose huge stature and unlikely speed earned him the nickname ‘Megatron’ after the Transformers bad guy and has now filtered down into his own limited edition line.

Featured in the collection is a hoodie with Transformers emblem, Vapor Jet gloves, Vapor football socks, sneakers and cap all in the recognisable dark black/purple/blue hues of the Decepticons.

The Calvin Johnson CJ81 Collection launches in time for Thanksgiving weekend in the US, hitting foreign stores on November 23 and Eastbay online.
