The Nike TN gets its most luxe makeover yet

Who knew TNs could look so suave?

Some combinations just sound weird until you try them. For example, eating mi goreng on bread seems like a bad idea at first. But when recovering from a night out, carbs on carbs in a mi goreng sandwich actually aren’t all that bad (but maybe don’t quote us on it).

The same can be said of combining satin and Nike TNs. The latest take on Nike’s ’90s Air Max Plus sees the brand steering away from the classic textile Swoosh, as this luxe satin will have your feet traveling in style like never before. We’re talking a real fresh mesh upper with plastic toe guards and some cheeky Tuned Air pod soles to give the kicks that extra little kick. Followed up with stitching to emphasise the cage and a patent leather mudguard, it all comes together to make a pretty sweet package deal. To bring it back to that shaky mi goreng metaphor, it’s like how each seasoning packet plays an important role, and the signature air pods on these shoes are like the fried onion sachets that just take everything to the next level.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Satin” Pack comes in both a Plum Fog and Enamel green for roughly $190 USD, and are hitting Foot Locker Europe on June 2. Take a sneak peak at the drop in the gallery above, and consume mi goreng sandwiches at your own risk.
