While you may have seen the ZX Flux teaser video that was released a few days ago (maybe even via our Instagram, follow us), not until the last 24 hours or so has the world really been privy to just how staggeringly huge this latest release is from adidas Originals.

The brand has released a revealing new video that features an interview with two of the main minds behind the ground breaking new model, Design Director Sam Handy and Business Unit Director, Torben Schumacher. The duo break down how and why the release came about and what else we can expect to see from the silhouette. Essentially the ZX Flux can be seen as an effort from the brand to adapt to the modern world and the currently favoured stripped back aesthetic but at the same time ensure that the shoe stays true to the original DNA of the iconic ZX family.

What is most surprising and exciting is the sheer volume of finishes the release has debuted in. The photo print satin specifically is something very new for the industry, and luckily for us we’re not going to have to wait too long for it to be available in store.
