There had been speculation on Lil’ Wayne teaming up with Supra, the footwear brand that he’s worn on and off for years now, and in this interview conducted with MTV2 Lil’ Wayne has put the speculation to rest. In this interview Weezy also speaks on his love of skateboarding which the rapper seems to have managed to have maintained since taking up the sport rather un-expectantly (and to much criticism) last year. Recently Lil’ Wayne also recently launched his own skateboarding brand Truckfit and as yet their has been no mention of a direct collaboration between his new label and the established footwear brand that has strong established ties with Krew.
