Denim label Wranglers have combined forces with Byron Bay motorcycle specialists Thrills Co. on a collaborative artistic endeavour. ‘Welcome Stranger’ is one part video lookbook, one part short film, and entirely disturbing. Shot on location in Byron Bay with a red epic the sprawling film follows a young girl across deserted roads and highways. And what’s the one thing that Australian cinema has taught us? BAD SHIT ALWAYS HAPPENS ON ROADS. From Mad Max to Wolf Creek it’s always the long lonely stretches of Aussie bitumen where things go wrong.
