The film recounts and celebrates the life of one of the most highly acclaimed haute-couturiers of all time. From his relationship with his partner, Pierre Bergé, to his drug habit, Pierre Niney plays the character to perfection from the beginning of the designer’s career in 1958. If you’re interested in the inspirations and life of the man behind YSL, this film is a must see.
