Peer into the heads of PUMA designers Ron Perkins and Yoshi Yoshimura as they take us through the history and philosophy of 1991’s Trinomic XT1 and XT2 in the leadup to the reissue of the bold silhouette.

As Perkins says, a lot has changed since the ’70s, “when jogging was just becoming a household term.” Meanwhile kicks completists get a behind-the-scenes look at all the vintage shoeboxes, blueprints and Pantone swatches that were retrieved from the PUMA archive in order to make this reimagination a reality.
