Remember the Seinfeld reunion-sort-of-thing that Jerry himself hinted at?

Well, it’s here.

In this special installment of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, aired during the Superbowl at half-time, Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander reunite to fill their classic roles from Seinfeld.

“Fox approached Larry (David) and me about doing some kind of Seinfeld reunion for the halftime broadcast because of the New York connection,” says Seinfeld. “So we thought throwing Jerry, George and Newman into a Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was a fun way to do it.”

The pair banter in true Jerry and George fashion, complete with the skepticisms and triviality that make their on-screen dynamic so memorable. Even Wayne Knight makes an appearance, reprising his role as Newman/Jerry’s antagonist.

“Larry and I wrote the script in one sitting, just like old times, and working with him, Jason and Wayne was a total blast as it always was.”

Watch it here.
