Olafur Eliasson has encouraged top level architects to get in touch with their inner child to collaborate on a LEGO city. The Collectivity Project was conceived by Eliasson as a way of bringing people together and allowing them to create a utopian society in miniature form. That’s cool in theory, but it might also just be a great excuse to play with some really cool all-white lego with architectural geniuses.

Architecture firms Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Bjarke Ingels Group, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and SHoP Architects have helped contribute structures to the city. Since then, The Collectivity Project has now invited the public in to alter and evolve the LEGO city, which will be available to do until September 30. We would love to add some medieval battlements and missile launchers to that temple old mate is constructing.

You can check out what the LEGO city currently looks like in the gallery above and find out more about the concept here.
