In a move in the vein of the recent newspaper face-folding phase, French artist Philippe Petrement has created a series of works called ‘The Magnificent Seven’, a collection of folded and paper-clipped banknotes from different countries to recreate the faces of political figures. Intricate and delicate work, the colours and facial features blend together to create a fascinating collection to spend some time mentally deconstructing.
