Over the weekend Sydney celebrated all things print with the launch of ‘Volumes’, an art-book fair that brought together a host of publishers to show their wares. We sent Sydney based contributor Chris Loutfy of Goodspace to check it all out, and take some photos. In his own words:

“Melbourne book lords Perimeter  joined forces with New York small press royalty Printed Matter to present Volume Art Book Fair at Artspace in Sydney over the weekend. There was a strong showing of local Sydney publishers plus a strong contingent from interstate and overseas. Standout on the day were local photography blog The Heavy Collective’s kickstarter funded annual Heavy Volume One, a fresh spread of wares from Melbourne’s No One Special, archival print gems dug up by new online mob Big Ego , Mack Books from London with lush offerings and Bloom Publishing keeping up the gold standard they are known for with a new monograph from head honcho Lloyd Stubber in conjunction with Perimeter Editions ‘Fossil Fuels’.
If this is the benchmark set by the first year of Volume, it’s gonna be a book fair to be reckoned with in the coming years.”
