As we start voyaging into the future – days spent on Facebook, Skyping, hashtagging, online shopping, and generally being illuminated by the blue light – there seems to be some kind of counter movement of typewriters, library books, corduroy and colouring books. Melbourne artist Georgia Perry is down with that movement, as she urges us to “get off the internet and into your pencil-tin!” You can do that with the help of her new colouring book for grown-ups, Full Colour. Filled with her signature quirky psychedelic illustrations, the book is available online now, or you can cop it at her official book launch on Thursday October 29 at The Good Copy in Collingwood.
