It might sound weird but KAWS’ latest project with creative studio Visionaire and M&Ms actually makes a lot of sense and stays true to the artist’s characteristic style. The collab saw KAWS create artworks displayed in the New York Public Library, which were then incorporated into a virtual reality experience. All was showcased over the weekend but obviously not everyone could head to the event, so the team has created an online version for the rest of us to enjoy. The video features KAWS speaking on his process while on site, before the whole scene turns into one big, animated trip, including his Companion character and raining M&Ms. This is probably as good a time as any to make use of that VR headseat you got for Christmas. Check out the video above.
