One of the most common questions found with the past and modern TV shows is, how can these people afford such nice cribs? The Simpsons owned a double storey house on one salary (not to mention Homer’s lifestyle), Monica was a chef with a massive (although shared) apartment and don’t get me started on Sex & The City.

But how can we judge if we’ve never scaled these places down? Our new favourite interior designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde decided to take speculation a bit further by doing so in a number of sketches floor planing some of your favourite shows houses and apartments.

I’m not sure about some of these but as a dedicated Seinfeld and Simpsons fan, I can say that these are legit, even to the smallest of details, such as the hiding closet next to the stairs and Santa’s Little Helper’s bowl in the kitchen. But it still raises the question: how can Homer afford all this?
