With the holiday season upon us, travel of all kinds are on the cards for most of us. Whether it’s a huge international blow-out or a weekend away down the coast, a switch-up in scenery works wonders after the exhausting year you’ve had. An individual you might not normally expect to take a break would be your local superhero but let’s face it, protecting mankind on a daily basis will probably burn you out after a while. In this series of images, photographer Benoit Lapray travels to different destinations, taking beautiful photographs and then Photoshops various iconic characters into the scene. “The Quest for the Absolute” becomes this extraordinary and kind of sad look at the heroes solitude in nature.
