It was bound to happen one day. You know, animals running amok in the supermarket, little bunny rabbits hiding out in the Swiss chard while a tiger serves you your weekly portion of chicken.

‘Garden Fresh’ is a collection put together by photographer Agan Harahap, and with a little help from Photoshop, the artist was able to create a reality where animals give up the hunt and join humans to shop organic side-by-side.

Harahap explains that the photographic series, ‘investigates the shifting boundaries between humans and animals in today’s environment and the complex relationship between art and nature’. The animals are positioned around the supermarket in environments that depict those most similar to their natural habitat.
