Postcards: Dexter Murray in America

There’s a lot more you get to experience by travelling a foreign country at ground level—landscapes, characters, and the everyday scenes that make up the suburbs you might not normally explore. New Zealand photographer Dexter Murray recently saw the west coast of America by road, driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles and making some scenic stops in Yosemite and Death Valley along the way. A very different environment to the world he’s known for the last 18 years, Dexter captured the trip on numerous rolls of film. Here are some of his favourite shots.
