Perpetual traveller, street artist and animal lover ROA, hailing from Belgium, has ruffled a few feathers with his ongoing series of animal-related murals. His recent works feature many endangered species and often showcase the usually cute animals in distressing, real-life situations – a poor narwhal hooked by a fishing line, a rotting badger carcass, a sliced up whale. The confronting pieces, which are scene across a number of major international cities, are the artist’s comment on the human race’s effect on our furry friends. Check out some of the images above.
