In the sad, sad world of bad movie fans, there is one name that stands above all others as just the worst. And not in an enjoyable way, in the way that you feel ripped off after watching something he made, like he knowingly robbed you of your time. That name is Uwe Boll.

After several failed attempts at crowdfunding, his most recent lunge for cash to film future classic Rampage 3 doesn’t look on track to meet its goal, and he wants us to know he’s mad. Or basically, he wants to tell his fans, fundholders, and bystanders to go fuck themselves.
It needs to be watched to be truly appreciated, but probably the best part in the clip is how he goes off about being unable to afford to make the film before promptly declaring “I have enough money to play golf until I’m dead”.

The German born, Canadian-based filmmaker has long earned derision for gaining film adaptation rights for video games and just churning out the most awful excuses for entertainment with zero passion (just check some examples above–including his film about an obese nazi hunter, Blubberella). He’s gained a massive reputation for just not giving a shit, even going so far as to openly admit it himself. On the commentary track for his Alone in the Dark adaptation, he candidly admitted that he made bad films in order to grab a 50% financing tax break from Germany. This dude is the real life Producers. Oh, and he also once starred in a documentary about him punching journalists in the face.

This might all be a publicity stunt before announcing another crowdfunding attempt but if it isn’t and he’s quitting Hollywood for good, check some of our favourite Uwe Boll trailers and moments in the gallery above.
