Sublimely original in its exploration of human connections – and haunting in what it has to say about society – Spike Jonze‘s scarily relatable relationship story follows Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix), a writer who, heartbroken after the end of a long relationship, forms a bond with a new, advanced operating system – Samantha (Scarlett Johansson).
